A prominent Christian cleric and founder of Christ Apostolic Church, Grace of Mercy Prayer Mountain, Worldwide, Prophet Sam Olu-Alo wants Nigerians to ensure that they avoid sentiments and vote for the right candidates in the 2023 elections.
He said the danger of voting based on religious and ethnic sentiments may lead the country into regret and catastrophe.
Speaking exclusively to Adamimogo 93.1FM, Lagos, the Cleric who also serves as Coordinator of the Babalola Memorial Miracle Camp, Ikeji-Arakeji noted that Nigeria has a bright future but needs a good leader to steer it to the Promised Land.
He reminded Christian faithful around the world to continue to seek the face of God for their lives, their countries and the Christian faith.
Highlighting plans for this year’s annual fasting and prayer programme scheduled for January 9, 2023 to February 17, 2023 in Jesus City, Ibeju-Lekki Lagos, Olu Alo said; “We need to pray for the peace and mercy of God upon Nigeria.
“This is election season and several men of God have prophesied war in the country. But as men of God and particularly the job of a prophet is to pray to either bring these visions to pass or avert them.
“There are also places were warfare is targeted at the church, we need peace to successfully pass through these critical times’’, Olu Alo said.
