The lagos state traffic management authority has confirmed that three 40 feet containers fell in different areas of lagos state today.
Lastma said the first incidents happened around 6:55am when a 40ft container fell off a trailer on ojuelegba bridge inward stadium, while the second incident happened near the general hospital at ikeja underbridge.
Also, this afternoon, the traffic management authority tweeted that another container had fallen along the mile 12 area of ikorodu road, stating that there is currently no access through the service lane.
The agency noted that men of the nigerian police force were already on ground as mechanism for evacuation has arrived with traffic diverted in the affected areas.
Lastma appealed to motorist plying the affected routes to cooperate with officials to ease the burden on the road.
