President Muhammadu Buhari says the federal government will appeal the court judgement on the case between Ifeanyi Ararume and the Nigeria national petroleum company limited, NNPCL.
The president, who sued for calm in the court case, said the attorney general of the federation /minister for justice is yet to receive a formal copy of the ruling, steps to go on appeal has been initiated.
Recall that president Buhari had sacked senator Ararume as the non-executive chairman of NNPCL board, which the federal high court through, justice Inyang Ekwo rejected, awarding a five-billion-naira damage against the federal government.
