The presiding justice of the presidential election petition court, justice Haruna Tsammani has adjourned the petition of candidate of the people’s democratic party, Atiku Abubakar to Thursday, may 11.
The tribunal says the fresh motions brought by Tinubu’s legal team seeking to dismiss Atiku’s petition at pre-hearing stage will be entertained on the adjourned date.
Atiku and the PDP are seeking a notification of the February 25 elections, alleging gross misconduct and electoral irregularities.
Recall that the election tribunal adjourned for the continuation of pre-hearing proceedings till Wednesday for the petition of the labour party and peter obi and that of the action peoples party (APP) yesterday.
