Lagos state police command has insisted that it handling of the Seun Kuti case does not violate human right or extent laws, insisting that allegations of such were wrong and misleading
In a statement by the state spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin, Seun Kuti was handcuffed and photographed in tandem with Lagos state criminal justice law and code of the force, while stating that he was not paraded as reported by his lawyers.
Hundeyin also appealed to Seun Kuti’s lawyers to allow the courts decide on the subject rather than embark on media rounds to blur out the facts of the situation.
The statement follows series of back lash from members of the public on the conduct of the police as regards the Seun Kuti case.
