The presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Atiku Abubakar, has sent a congratulatory message to the governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu Fintiri and his Deputy, Kaletapwa Farauta on their swearing-in for a second term in office.
Atiku in a statement felicitated with the governor and his deputy while refusing to make any statement on the inauguration of president Bola Tinubu as the 16th President of Nigeria.
Recall that Atiku and the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi had gone to court to seek redress over the February 25 presidential election, they claimed to be fraudulent.
The apex court in its decision by a five-member panel, held that an appeal by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, failed to challenge the legality of Tinubu’s candidacy and lacked merit.
