National population commission has confirmed the dispensation of 200 billion naira in preparation for this year’s census.
Director public affairs of the commission, Isiaka yaya said that the comission had been spending the funds gradually since 2014 to execute its plans and programs towards the exercise, which he said was contrary to speculations from some quarters.
Yaya further stated that the commission is adequately prepared for the exercise, assuring Nigerians that the commission will employ world standard equipment and methods
According to him, the official date for the population census has not been concluded.
