The Acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Umar Damagun has appealed to party members to come up with practical solutions to the challenges bedevilling the party.
Damagun made the appeal in his opening remarks at a meeting of the party’s National Working Committee Select Committee, in Abuja, today.
The acting chairman said the meeting was an opportunity to review the outcome of the last general elections and to share ideas about how to strengthen the party to face the challenges ahead.
In his remarks, the Acting Chairman of the party’s Board of Trustees, Adolphus Wabara, expressed delight that a large number of those invited turned up for the meeting, describing it as a step in the right direction.
