The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Adamu, says the list of principal officers for the 10th National Assembly announced today by President of the Senate Godswill Akpabio and House of Representatives’ Speaker, Tajudeen Abbas is not from the secretariat.
Adamu stated this at a meeting with the Progressives Governors’ Forum led by Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, submitting that the national working committee of the all-progressive congress has not communicated with the assembly, insisting that whatever announcement is done either by the President of the Senate, or Speaker is not from the secretariat.
He stated that the election of the principal officers of the 1oth assembly was determined solely by the leadership of the Senate and House of Representatives as the national headquarters of the party has not given any such information or communicated about the choice of offices.
