The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Lekan Balogun, has today ordered the immediate suspension of one of his Mogajis, Olawale Oladoja, Mogaji Akinsola, following his dastard activities in the Akinsola Village in Akinyele Local Government Area of Oyo State.
There was mild drama in Akinsola village yesterday after the mogaji took over the community, claiming he had gotten court judgments to prove that the land upon which they built their houses was not legally sold to them.
The public outcry that greeted the matter led to the emergency meeting conveyed today, where the Personal Assistant to Olubadan, Oladele Ogunsola disclosed that Mogaji Akinsola tried to recruit Baale Aponmode, Dauda Bolarinwa and bale Labinkulu Morufu Raufu, who turned him down.
The Ashipa Olubadan, Oba Biodun Kola-Daisi who read the riot act on behalf of the Olubadan Advisory Council said several facts were established that Mogaji Akinsola did not follow the code of conduct leading to his suspension as Mogaji.
Ashipa Olubadan stated that the mogaji will tender public apology to the people inconvenienced and will remain suspended as long as it takes to resolve the problem he have created.
