Thirty-one victims of the building collapse that claimed two lives in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), have been discharged from hospitals.
The acting secretary, Health and Human Service Secretariat, Malan Noel Haruna, who led top government officials to Asokoro and other hospitals to visit the patients said government will not abandon them.
The visit was in response to the order of the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, who stated that the service must ensure victims of the collapses get the necessary medical attention.
The patients were discharged from Asokoro and other hospitals across the nation’s capital with four victims are still receiving treatment at the hospital.
It would be recalled that 37 victims were rescued alive after a tow story building collapsed in Abuja.
