The Lagos State Chairman of Trade Union Congress, Gbenga Ekundayo has faulted claims that the agitation of Organised Labour is tilted towards the needs of government workers only, neglecting the private sector.
Ekundayo, speaking on the follow-up, a political program on Adamimogo Fm today, said the organise Labour is working on modalities to include the private sector in its dealings with the government.
Earlier, the Federal government in a statement by the Minister of Information and national orientation, Mohammed Idris promised that some of the resolutions reached at the Sunday with organized labor will be implemented speedily.
The NLC and TUC had agreed to suspend their proposed industrial action for 30 days, to allow the Federal government enough time for implementation.
