The Lagos State Delegation today visited the Scene of the Iganmu Fire Incident that occurred yesterday, for an on-the-spot assessment of damages from the inferno.
Commissioner of Information, Gbenga Omotosho gave updates on the situation, debunking reports that some people lost their lives to the incidence, while appealing to rumor peddlers to exercise caution.

Omotosho also commended the efforts of the first responders at the scene for swift response to emergency calls and for a thorough job in containing the situation.

Meanwhile, the State Emergency Agency is cleared up the area for normal activities to return, restating commitment to the welfare of residents.
