The Abia State Peoples Democratic Party governorship candidate, Uche Ikonne, is dead.
This was confirmed by his son Chikezie Uche-Ikonne in a statement.
Ikonne was said to have died at the National Hospital Abuja today after suffering from multiple cardiac arrests.
