The Anambra police spokesman, Ikenga Tobechukwu, says security operatives in the state has arrested members of a four-man armed robbery gang while they were vandalizing a suspected stolen truck.
Tobechukwu announced that the security operatives during the gun duel with the criminals demobilized two of the gang members, while two others escaped.
According to him, efforts are already in top gear to arrest other fleeing gang members, while stating that the arrested members have confessed to the crime and are currently helping the police with information on other syndicates.
