The Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in Birnin Kebbi today affirmed the election of Governor Nasir Idris as winner of the March 2023 Governorship election in Kebbi State.
The panel chaired by Justice Ofem I. Ofem dismissed the 722-page petition by Aminu Bande of the Peoples Democratic Party, for lacking merit.
Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC had declared Idris of the All Progressives Congress, APC winner of the March 18 gubernatorial election.
