A High Court sitting in Akure, the Ondo State Capital has sacked the deputy speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Samuel Aderoboye and ordered the reinstatement of a former Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, Iroju Ogundeji.
Recall that Ogundeji was impeached last year by the members of the assembly who accused him of gross misconduct.
Delivering judgment, Justice Adetan Osadebe, nullified the impeachment of Ogundeji, describing it as illegal.
Hailing the judgement, Ogundeji said he intends to resume office as soon as the House reconvenes.
When Adamimogo 93.1FM reached out to the Spokesman of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Gbenga Omole, he said the house required more time to review the judgement before deciding its next action.
