Economic and Financial Commission says it has arrested an operations manager of a commercial bank in Abuja for refusing to load the Automated Teller Machines of the bank despite having N29million in the branch’s vaults
The Head, Media and Publicity, EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren, noted argued that the action was a sabotage of the government’s monetary policy by and a deliberate refusal to dispense the redesigned naira notes.
Uwujaren promised that the operation will continue until normalcy is restored to the banking system.
