Former governors of kaduna state, Nasir El-Rufai has promised to root out and tackle the basic challenges in the power sector if confirmed as minister for power.
El-Rufai said this today, during his screening by the senate, noting that his wealth of experience in service at different level will be a leverage to engineer a permanent solution to power generation and distribution in Nigeria.
He insisted that the current structure of the power sector especially distribution must be reviewed to give room for investors and fresh ideas.
The senate today screened Dave Umahi, Wale Edun, Musa Dangiwa among others
