The former president of Nigeria Olusegun Obasanjo has charged leaders in Nigeria to lead with posterity at heart, knowing that nothing lasts forever.

Obasanjo said this at the commissioning of the 34.85 km Oyo-Fashola-iseyin road which connects oyo and oke-ogun zone, saying that good works will always out leave any administration.

The state governor, seyi makinde who restated his commitment to the welfare and development of the people, echoed that it was the duty of every leader is to serve and make life worth living for his subjects, noting that the project will further boost investment and socio-economic activities in the agrarian zones.

On his part, the representative of Alaafin of Oyo, bishop Ayo Ladigbolu, he stated that the Oyo-Iseyin Road was crucial to sustaining the relationship between southern and northern oyo, appreciating the governor for fulfilling his promises to late Oba Lamidi Adeyemi.
