The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has dissolved his cabinet ahead of his swearing-in ceremony on May 29, with a directive to all affected persons to declare their assets.
This was disclosed by the state Head of Service, Hakeem Muri-Okunola, through a circular.
The Governor also ordered all political office holders to prepare individual handover notes and return any government property including project vehicles in their possession to the Most Senior Director of their Ministries, Department and Agencies.
The circular also noted that political appointees whose appointments are by legislation and tenure-based are not affected by the dissolution, unless otherwise formally informed.
