A businessman and candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo South Senatorial District of Ondo State, Dr Jimoh Ibrahim has won the election, defeating the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party and the immediate past deputy governor of the state, Mr Agboola Ajayi.
The announcement of the election result was disclosed by the Independent National Electoral Commission in Okitipupa, the headquarters of Okitipupa Local Government Area of the state.
INEC’s Returning Officer, Prof. Johnson Fashimilehin, said Ibrahim polled 110, 665 votes while Ajayi scored 65,784 votes.
