Senate leadership and the president of the Nigeria labor congress and trade union congress as well as other leaders of different union are in a meeting in abuja.
The national chairman of the labor union stated that the meeting is at the instance of the senate, to address the grievances expressed by organized labor, which bothers on workers welfare and palliative packages for Nigeria.
Recall organized labor had on Wednesday, 2nd august taken to the streets to demand a reversal of what they termed anti-poor policies, while insisting that the federal government must review workers wage in tandem with the current economic realities
