The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), has debunked claims suggesting nepotism and unmerited promotions within the agency.
in a statement today, NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi, noted that such reports are misleading and does not represent the image and tenets of the agency while stating that promotions remain an ongoing exercise based on a number of factors including vacancies.
According to him, 70% of the workforce that had experienced delayed promotion were promoted and their ranks harmonized in 2021 soon after Buba Marwa assumed leadership of the Agency
He urged the public to disregard any such information that seeks to cast a dent on the strides attained by the NDLEA, especially under the leadership of Buba Marwa.
