The speaker, of the house of representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, says circumstances that led to denied access for stranded Nigerians in Sudan, at the Egyptian boarder must be investigated.
Gbajabiamila said this today, at a meeting with the minister of state for foreign affairs, Zubair Dada; director general, Nigerians in diaspora commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabir, and partners.
He noted that the house would examine and eliminate the apparent confusion, over the roles and jurisdiction of relevant ministries and agencies of government, in the management of the crisis involving Nigerians abroad.
The speaker insisted that the efforts of the federal government to safely evacuate Nigerians back home should not be jeopardized.
