The Commandant General, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Ahmed Audi, has deployed 40,000 personnel ahead of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
in a statement by the Corps Spokesperson, Olusola Odumosu, Audi charged all heads of formation to leave no stone unturned in ensuring effective security coverage of the country.
He urged them to increase their level of vigilance and be highly sensitive to their environment, especially during this festive period.
Audi also appealed to citizens to cooperate with the corps by quickly reporting suspicious activities in their locality.
