The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has warned persons involved in discharge or exemption certificates forgery to desist or risk jail term or other severe penalties as stipulated by law.
The Director, Legal Services, Ahmed Ibrahim, said this today during the 2023 Legal Officers’ Capacity Building Training in Abuja.
According to Ibrahim, the NYSC Act has adequately provided sanctions for unscrupulous elements who venture into forgery of the corps certificates, warning that such persons will be arrested and prosecuted.
According to him, the corps will continue to organize trainings to enhance the capacity and knowledge of legal officers in the scheme on their professional roles in the defence of the Public Service in Nigeria.
