The immediate past Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Olakunle Oluomo, has been re-elected for a second term while Bolanle Ajayi from Yewa South State Constituency was elected as the Deputy Speaker of the House.
Oluomo who represents Ifo Constituency 1 and has been in the House since 2011was elected following the inauguration of the 10th Ogun Assembly today
The Speaker is currently on trial over allegations of N2.5 billion that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) said went missing under his watch.
The former Deputy Speaker appreciated God for the opportunity and promised that the 10th assembly would work for the peace and progress of the state.
