President Bola Tinubu has appointed three more ministerial nominees and has written to the Senate to confirm their nominations.
Senate President Godswill Akpabio read a letter from President Tinubu requesting the confirmation of three additional ministerial nominees when the lawmakers resumed plenary today.
The nominees are Balarabe Abbas Lawal from Kaduna State, Jamila Bio Ibrahim from Kwara State, and Ayodele Olawande from Ondo State.
The Senate in August 2023 screened and confirmed 45 ministerial nominees and rejected former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, Stella Okotete from Delta State and Abubakar Danladi from Taraba State.
The senate is expected to announce a date for the screening of the nominees.
