Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has today inaugurated the 10th State House of Assembly, appealing for cooperation between the lawmaking arm and the executive.
In his proclamation speech, Sanwo-olu urged the lawmakers to always apply the rule of mutual respect, dialogue and public interest in approaching and dealing with all issues.
meanwhile, member representing the Agege 1 constituency at the State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, has been reelected as Speaker of the House for the third term while Monisola Lasbat (Apapa I), Chief Whip of the Ninth Assembly, was also elected Deputy Speaker of the 10th Assembly after her nomination and general acceptance by the House.
They were elected shortly after the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, proclaimed the Assembly.
