The acting Inspector General of Police, IGP , has been decorated by Vice President Kashim Shettima, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The Vice president appealed to the acting police chief to hit the ground running and ensure all forms of crime is tackled headlong for the development of the nation.
In his speech, the acting IGP, Egbetokun stated that his decoration is a call to serve the nation without prejudice, while promising to justify the confidence reposed In him by the nation.
on his part, the former IGP, Alkali Usman Baba said he was happy that he was handing over to someone that will carry the mantle of leadership from where he stopped.
